Well maintained for ALL wildlife. Plenty of room to roam. Many different types of cover.

Beautiful, quiet, serene place to meditate & observe nature. Was walking my 2 dogs when a pair of eagles soared high overhead. Watched them a few minutes till I couldn't see them anymore. Only then did I realize they were sitting nearby in a tree watching us. We quietly made our way back to the car, just in time to watch them fly off. Such gorgeous, majestic creatures in one of the most beautiful places around. If you get the chance to go for an outdoor walk, this is the place. The trees are changing, the deer are running, but BEWARE: THE HUNTERS ARE OUT. WEAR BRIGHT COLORS & KEEP YOUR PETS CLOSE BY. WE GO FREQUENTLY & WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.

It's very frustrating to watch unique birding habitats get destroyed over the years and "rare" breeding birds displaced. I fully understand that this 2,000 plus acres of land is mainly used for hunting, but damn. Nature has more than enough difficulties surviving amongst humans. Our environmental atrocities will never stop but perhaps let's slow it down. Creating suitable breeding habitat for vulnerable marsh birds and then mowing it down so nothing uses the marsh seems a bit silly. But it happens year after year. 🙈

Tom and Kyle greeted me with hand shakes and then handed me a paint brush to start painting. Was part of the work crew helping today at the game lands. Had fun painting and catching up with those two.

Very poorly managed dove area. Multiple fields and no doves to be seen.

PA Game and fish needs to manage the predator population. Pretty sure they are killing more Pheasant than the hunters are.
