Pretty place to visit. Not many animals to see or hunt. Wild hogs have taken over all the food plots and destroyed them. Lots of Law Enforcement activity and presence. Roads were just about impossible to travel with just a little rain the day before.

Hunted here 6 seasons now over about 10 years. Pros... Well managed wma. Great late season place to hunt. Good bucks to be had. Cons... Pack and prepare wisely. Very limited resources within reasonable driving distance. Gets busy!!! Camp is a free for all, 8 out of 10 set up parallel to the camp road, taking up 2 or 3 spots. Half of them ain't even here. Non stop traffic 4am till 11pm, not a very restful place. Alot of hunters roll out 2hrs before sunrise. Securing thier spot due to so many hunters is all I can figure. Or maybe they just like to sit in the dark, idk. Steep terrain. Harvest recovery can be tough if you're hunting solo. Can't walk a mile from any one road. Hard to get off the beaten path. Deer density isn't that great in my opinion. Seeing a deer or two seems to be a good day in there. You'll see more hunters than deer. Can be a bit of a stressful, physically demanding hunt. Always a few good bucks hanging up in camp though. Keeps me coming back.

Busy because it is hunting season..staff was wonderful. Water was available at office cleaning area.

Really great managed woods and wildlife. World class deer. Get the app. Firearm provisions are online now. Dont use the middle shower. Girls side bathroom stays emaculent. Male hunters are nasty, ill leave it at that, gross.

This WMA has deer cleaning stations and a fully plumbed bathhouse at the open campground. Lots or room for camping, but it is primitive, with no hookups or even designated sites, first come first served.

So far....we love this place. Nice flushable toilets and 3 large showers. Lots of area to walk and explore.

My first time here and some of the rudest hunters I’ve ever encountered. They will set up right on top of you even when they know you’re there.
