This is a largely undeveloped park with wide walking paths that are well kept. The largest part of the park is east of the Beaver Creek and is low land that is usually very wet and inaccessible. I hope a boardwalk is eventually added although that may reduce its use as a wildlife area. They allow hunting on this land, so I would avoid it during gun hunting season as I saw a deer stand in the wooded area.
Took my children for the first time, there was some trash as normal lately. Yet, wasn't too bad. It was still pretty wet so we didn't travel far.
It's pretty, but we didn't wander into the vegetation. Need to come back and explore more.✌
the creekside trail was so difficult for me to find! i didn’t realize for the longest time its entrance is a little “annex” part off the main paved bike/walking path. my dog always enjoys knew places to explore, and i enjoyed the deer i saw multiple times through the evening.
There's a boardwalk that winds through the wetlands! Lovely walk on a sunny day!
Its quiet on most days. Love to hunt here but remember its public land. If you leave your stuff out there its PUBLIC and anyone can use it. Have fun.
Quite a unique place. Be prepared for some tough going if you venture off the beaten path.
Absolutely beautiful.
