As of 2024 they destroyed way too much wild pheasant habitat at once. Populations were strong, but now they have taken a big hit. So much for conservation. Enjoy that 2 million in your pocket. So much for being a steward of the land.

Decent area to view different wildlife. Not sure how good the hunting or fishing is? Usually stop at the viewing deck off of Rte 95 to view sunsets since it has a long unobstructed view.

Saw a few birds here… there’s lot of greenery, surrounded by tree, and one long trail. Pretty quiet spot in Marion.

Nice looking WMA, I am hoping to fish it some time soon, looked like a productive area to fish, took my dog with me to scout it out, got home and did find 3 ticks on myself and a couple on my pup. If you go, make sure to use some deep woods off.

It's a simple equation. Water = ducks, you have the habitat but you seldom, very seldom have the water and water in the correct places. Management this year was non existent. Same ol' same ol'

Open grasslands with waterfowl marshes.Spring time waterfowl viewing at it's best. Hunting season offers something for all hunters and trappers . 30 years plus hunting this area with good success. New hunters should get a map and do some scouting to be successful.
