I enjoy riding bikes from the entrance off of Rt. 27. It’s not a very long ride, only a few miles from the front to back. But it’s a great ride and views around sunset. Be aware, if you’re hiking, there are bee boxes and the bees can get a little aggressive (been there, done that- got stung). If you’re willing to be a little possibly trespassy (though, the gate is unlocked and there’s no signage), you can hike-a-bike out Little Nellie Road (I think it’s called) and connect up to dirt roads on the other side.

Have driven by here numerous times going to work and the gate was always closed...NOT TODAY! Super nice place, pleasantly surprised. Good roads and found the tunel under I-4!!! SO COOL!! Lots of wildlife!!

Just a short gravel road into the nature preserve. Quiet spot for a short walk as there are a couple of paths that lead away from the the road. No visible wildlife during our visit.

Be aware it's going to cost you money to get into this place $3 if you're just hiking more if you're going to be hunting. It's definitely big and pretty peaceful but it's not the most beautiful place I've seen. Lake Louisa State Park right next door is much better. but I did stumble upon some guys who just bagged a deer so I guess there is wildlife here if that's your thing.

Beautiful park! Huge trees, great trails. Nice swimming, notice gator sign. Plenty of wildlife. We saw owl and many other birds.

Nice MA. Some of the pictures posted are at Lake Louisa State Park. Though they are next to each other, they are different. No RV hookups here.
