On the Fringe enough, but still yet close enough to society for a one-bar of five in cell-phone reception, I was pleased to discover this site after over an hour of driving the back-Loop in checking out the other campsites offerred -- this one was exactly what I needed, as it had a great lake-front, plenty of natural backdrops, and overall it generally provided for the peace-and-quiet I sought.
I almost don't don't want to rate this bc I don't want it to get crowded! These camp sites have their own beach front! Free camping never looked so good
Very nice weekend getaway spot. Not busy or noisy. Campsites are right on the water as well.
Cool place to hang out for a few days and get outa town
Really pretty, out of the way spot that had lots of open sites in the middle of July. It’s not designed for big rigs. We saw one class A there and we shoved our 5er in a spot on the end so we weren’t blocking anyone when we stuck out into the road, but I can’t say I’d recommend this place for big rigs unless you’re willing to be creative. Road in was potholes and gravel washboard not unlike the Alcan. Gorgeous lake we kayaked on. Free. No ATT service.
Very peaceful place!
Awesome location. Camping right on the lake. Nice boat ramp. Surrounded by the most amazing views.
Used boat launch for a great day of fishing. Thank you firefighters! Campground still closed due to Swan Lake fire.
