Second time here after a year. I come here before hitting the hills because of low cell service & I had to make a call. Walked for about a good hour up the gravel trail & back. Was the only person parked so thankfully nobody broke into my car while I was off. Very beautiful area especially after all the rain we had. Very green scenery.

It’s a decent place to stop on a road trip if you need a walk. I take my dog here on my way up to WA and let her run around. It’s usually pretty unpopulated and once you get away from the road, it’s peaceful.

Few visitors, relative to the parking lot. Hunt elk with bow & arrow, sightsee, train your birding dogs. Coyote brush, marshes, open grass.

Easy to get to and clean with lots of well-placed and legible signage. only gave it three stars because it was closed

Great place to hunt upland game. Great mix of woodsy areas and open fields. Also there is a mountain lion here. First time I've ever seen one in person! Very cool.

Fantastic number of trails, some deer and nice scenery. Best part is dogs allowed off-leash for most of the year.
