Wish I could leave a good review of this guide service. We wanted to book a duck/gator combo hunt and put a deposit down to do so with Chris Santangelo. Unfortunately due to an unexpected work conflict the dates would no longer work. We let him know 4 months ahead of when the trip was even supposed to be. It was not a last minute change of plans. We understood that the deposit was non refundable, but when we reached out to let him know about the conflict and to see what options we had for rebooking the trip we never even so much as got a response. Just rude and unprofessional and it was not like it was going to be an inexpensive hunt. Definitely would not recommend this guide.

The prairie and staff completely lived up to expectations! The property is incredible and the staff is amazing. Our guide Noah was so fun. Dawn fed us well and everyone is still talking about her amazing cooking! What a great week at the prairie!

Chris and his crew are top notch! We were treated like old friends from beginning to end. They have the experience, and all of the tools necessary for you to get the most out of your hunting trip. Chris has competitive pricing without sacrificing quality. We had a first timer in our group and they took extra care to make sure everyone felt comfortable before they started the hunt. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will be going back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Lodging, food and hunts were awesome. Fun filled weekend with the knowledgeable staff hunting hogs. Night optic hunts were amazing! Chris and his crew did an amazing job for our group. Saw a ton of exotic animals. Best in Florida. Definitely will be making another trip very soon!!

I went with my daughters expecting a bunch of hunting experts who would not cater to first timers like us....I was blown away by the level of service we received. We where treated like loyal customers and given many options to ensure that we all got a hog, but also would have a good time. We each got a huog, 2 of them trophies...we did all 3 types of hunt, and did it while having great companion ship with the guides. Felt very comfortable with these guys and how they treated my daughters. I would highly recommend this for the hard core as well as for anyone looking to have a good time with family and friends. The accomoda tons where great including amazing freshly prepared meals!

Just got back from a fantastic Gator hunting experience. Chris is a knowledgeable easy going guide that put us on 2 huge Gators in very short order (11’11” and 11’7”). Lake Okeechobee is huge and he knew it well. The hunting lodge and staff were friendly and the place was clean. Dawn took care of us in the kitchen with breakfast lunch and dinner. Over all, was an awesome adrenaline pumping experience. Thanks again guys.
