Great place to hike with dog's, by your self or with friends. Easy trails with lots of wild flowers, trees and animals. Be on alert baby black bears with their momma lurking around corners and in the trees.
Great place to hike and be outdoors, always clean and well maintained
Peaceful
Just love being out
Hiked in to the reservoir from Pittston Rd. It was a grass road, very well maintained and extremely wide at some spots. There are other small access roads that head off of it we didn't explore. The reservoir is easy to get to and ooks like a great fishing spot... There were no signs posted that prohibit fishing. Great, easy hike/walk.
Undercover local gem holds everything you'd want. Great hiking and public shooting range as well as accessibility to Pinchot State Forest.
Whole lot of nothing. No trails, no bikes, no people. Perfect for a real outing in the woods where snakes and ticks are all you have to worry about or possibly a stray round from the target range. Probably best to stay up range of that area if your going for a walk in the brush.
I ran into a game commission officer about a week ago at the range, I don't remember his name but he is a very respectable informative officer, I talked to him for about a half hour. He was driving a blue Chevy trailblazer I think thats all I know. He's a great officer and I'm happy he is part of the Pennsylvania game commission, thank you whoever you are.
