I came here to hike and had a good time. I parked on Idle Road, right by Trout Run. The parking lot was muddy but still accessible, though it seems that at times it can be inaccessible due to mud. The road is closed during winter. The trail near Trout Run follows the stream, offering a calm and peaceful hike. However, I wouldn’t recommend visiting during hunting season for obvious safety reasons. Overall, it was a good experience. I’d consider returning if I run out of, or get bored with, other better parks in the area.

Nice flat trail across the top with good parking at the east end. Nice walk for the pup with a geocaching break in the middle.

Wonderful place to go love to see all the surrounding areas! Great place to hunt and hike!

Great hiking, biking and running trails. Deep forest scenery. Peaceful. Recommend bug spray. Would get a full 5 stars but there's no winter maintenance on the side road and the dirt/stone road becomes rutted out after heavy rain sometimes. No guardrails and two way traffic can become torturous for beginner drivers.

Good hiking trails, but very remote. Spotty cell phone coverage. Very nice for a quiet walk in the wilderness.

Great place to get out. Some trails andogging roads.

Nice place hike & get away from city noise

Quiet nature. No phone reception. Woods streams and trails.
