This place is in the see Anchorage Old Federal building, be expected to go through security screening like an airport. Just keep in mind you are entering a Federl courthouse. The place has lots of information about where to go and what to do all over the state.
This place is great. If you’re visiting Alaska, you should stop here and the people who is working here really friendly and nice to everybody. I would recommend you to come here and see what’s going on in Alaska. Also, you can ask any question to them. It’s really amazing that you have it here.
Interesting exhibits and shows. Loved the way the exhibits show different areas of Alaska and across various seasons.
This is a federal building, so everyone is checked by wand and officers before entering. There are so many wonderful displays here. Several exhibits and stations with information about area animals, videos about wildlife and displays to explore. They also have books and videos for purchase that contain interesting information, especially for children.
A wonderful place with interesting Alaska exhibits, films and a friendly staff. A great thing to do if it’s rainy outside as you can spend a couple of hours here. Highly recommended.
A very unique place to visit to learn about Alaska history and surrounding nature!
Fantastic movies & it's free to get in! We watched 3 - 30 minute movies about Alaska, the Klondike Gold Rush, & the 1964 devastating earthquake! They were all great & did I mention it was free 😱
Very cool place. Free admission. Super friendly staff.
