Great place to visit with lots of things for kids to explore. Trails need tended to a bit, there are a few widowmakers on the trails, one of which has been dead for awhile and has quite a bit of what looks like termite damage near the roots.
Lovely waterfall here. Less than a 10 minute, fairly easy hike to see this. And if you stop here, make sure to drive another few minutes to see the other waterfall, which is equally as beautiful. Worth a stop if you're in the area.... only 15 minutes from Amish Country.
Falls are both nice at each end of the trail. Trails are not that well marked though. So here is some advice. If you just want to see the falls, the go to both parking places and only hike the few hundred feet in to each falls.
Beautiful hiking trails with waterfalls. Parking lot is a little icy.
Um, this is not a wildlife reserve or a park, this is public hunting land. The two waterfalls are nice and there is a trail that connects them both. Don't be surprised to see hunters in the area especially during deer season. There is a lot of trash around and graffiti on the large rocks. There is a nice ravine that is rather deep. The place is mostly nice to get out into nature. Once again this is not a park, it is hunting land keep that in mind when visiting and be careful.
Stay on the trail or go a "little off roading". This is a beautiful place to interact with nature.
We had a blast here! Also got some amazing pictures! We will return very soon.
Steep trail, but a beautiful place.
