A nice little park, very quiet, rarely anyone there. If you own a kayak, it's a cool little pond to explore. In my experience, fishing is not great. Crappie, bass, channel cats, and sunfish can all be found, but none very big. Fishing tends to be better from a kayak than from land. The area around the pond is maintained and kept easily walkable. There is one seemingly unofficial trail into the woods, maintained simply by people walking along it. There are no restrooms or amenities of any kind. If you bring a kayak, expect a several hundred foot walk to the pond, bring a cart. Edit: 12/19/24 After having explored the surrounding woods, I have a newfound appreciation for this wildlife area. It is home to some really cool, big trees.

Very nice place, I can't wait to fish the lake.

It's a very lovely to visit
