Nick was our guide for my 14 yr old son and my 13 yr old nephew we did both the alligator and hog hunt. I can not even express how awesome he was with the boys. He took us out the day before the hunt to show us the stands that we could sit in for the hog hunt and explained we could also use the dogs. We decided to use the dogs and he made it such an exciting hunt. He was patient and taught the boys every step of the way down to skinning and cutting up their hog. The only complaint I have is on the side by side, it would be so much better if it had a windshield so your not getting swamp water in the face or bugs. They had just got the machine back from the mechanic and it constantly shut off. Otherwise amazing experience!

My family and I had an amazing day at Clay Gully Outfitters. KC, Joe, and Preston were great. We had an action packed duck hunt and finished the day off with some hogs. Highly recommend this outfitter. Kid friendly is an understatement, Joe let my 5 year old put in work on the mojo and he keeps talking about how he was able to get ducks in so his dad and uncle could bust em up!

Got us set up with Captain Carlos for a four hour iguana hunt, had a blast! Captain Carlos was good at explaining does and do nots, excellent instructor and put use on lizards from start to finish. It was a target rich environment!!! Highly recommend Clay Gully Outfitters.

Went here with my brother on our first hunt and we are glad we did. The staff was very accommodating and had just about anything we needed on-site ready to go. As if that weren't good enough already, the other guests/club members were just as amazing as the staff and really helped make our first hunt memorable. We went home with a decent sized hog that night! I really can't say enough good things about this place and everyone involved in making it as great as it is. Big thanks to Marvin and Mike as well as the other guests there that helped us out! We will be back :)

Had an EXCELLENT time at the Clay Gully Outfitters facility. I am used to the dirty and cramped sleeping quarters - nothing like a beautiful new lodge with modern bathrooms. The guide was very personable and went above and beyond! I can't imagine going back to the place nearby that I used to go to! I'll be back for the Alligator hunt this fall!

** Warning**BAIT & SWITCH** SCAM Worst trip / Experience ever!!! We got a group of us to go alligator & Hog hunting and they told us when we signed up there were multiple ways to hunt alligators and hogs. We were assured this would be the trip of a lifetime, but the fact is it turned out to be more of a bait and switch situation. First of all we were never communicated the policy for early arrival, so when four hunters arrived on Tuesday night they were unable to access your camp. It took multiple phone calls and over 30 minutes to finally contact you and gain access to our lodging. Not a very hospitable welcome. When the rest of the group arrived on Wednesday there was still no communication about what to expect, hunting options, timing of hunts, nothing. We all signed waivers prior to getting to the camp about hunting with dogs and riding on airboats, but none of that was ever mentioned by your guides. Our hog hunting was done strictly from the blinds situated on the property with no spot and stalk, or dog assisted hunting ever offered. They offered free range alligator hunting, but they were in a fenced in pond. They claim they have the most hogs around, but out of all the hour spent in blinds only one guy ever even saw a hog. They claimed that $1000.00 covered everything for the hog and alligator hunting, but this was not accurate either. It turns out we all needed a license to harvest an alligator, at a cost of $54.69, something you never informed us about until we were in route to the “gator hunt”.  This should have all been communicated to us ahead of time so that we didn’t have to scramble at the last minute obtaining the license. We were also told that we would have the lodge to ourselves if we got over 10 people to go on this hunting trip but this was not the case. One of the guides and the chef also stayed with us in the lodge. This wouldn’t have been a problem except that they sold us something different. We were also told that we could keep our gator meat, but this never happened either. We were prepared to butcher and package our own game, but instead were forced to purchased pre-packaged alligator meat from the local processing plant. We also wanted trophies from our gators, but were not allowed anything but the head. Our expectations were set so high that we even drove two pick-up trucks down from Michigan loaded with coolers so that we could haul back everything we killed. We were also told that an 8 ft gator only produces about 15 pounds of good meat, but further research determined that an alligator, eight foot long, actually produces 30-40 pounds of meat. The truth is that their “gator hunt” was our free labor harvesting their farmed raised gators for their processor. This was a total bait and switch & I hope they get shut down for poor business ethics. Complete joke considering Zach Seiler an NFL football player is part owner. KC the other owner doesn’t care about your experience unless he knows you. He spent Zero time trying to help us get a hog. And the whole time were were at the gator pond he sat on his phone. What a joke.

Had a great time here at Clay Gully. The Lodge was immaculate and the staff was incredible. A special thanks our guide Joe! Very knowledgeable and hard working. A trip that will not soon be forgotten.

Had a great time with these guys. Brought my nephew , 14, who had never gone hunting. They where very helpfull. They really helped him land his first hog.
