This was one of the best campgrounds I've been too. Large camp spaces perfect for an RV and each site has an area for a tent. Theres a neat trail that goes along the river you can walk down. Super quiet and peaceful. We'll be back next summer.
Very little entrance access due to snow and recent wind conditions.. and due to being winter in Alaska but during the summer time that's a great place to come and camp and boat and fish
Slow flowing Pristine spring waters, ideal for a one day (about nine miles) float trip. The float trip can start here at the campground and end up at the Clearwater Lake for the takeout. It you miss the turn to Clearwater Lake the next take out is another 15 miles downstream to the Tanana River bridge in Big Delta.
The water is so clear and the park manager was incredibly nice. Bathrooms are clean.
Off the beaten path. Difficult to find-roped off, burned down, signage misleading. Mosquitos were horrible. Camping spot wasn’t bad. No dump station as reported.
I like this place because it's always clean, and very beautiful.
Campspots were nice, but there really wasn't a way to fish from the bank, and I'd left my chest waders at home.
Great site. Clean, beautiful and remote feeling. Only problems were 1- folks next to us did not leash their Rottweiler who kept annoying our two small dogs who were tied up. Also some folks decided to spend over an hour starting at 3 AM 4 wheeling around the campsites even though it states no 4 wheelers in campground area. No one on site to address these two issues with.
