Lower Fire Lake Public Access

The lake is great for recreation, but parking is not the greatest. It's also a pretty steep embankment to get boats or kayaks in and out of the water. It is one of only two lakes in the municipality where you can have a boat with a gas motor (sand lake is the other one).

Why is the location of the public access for fire lake icon all the way in anchorage when the lake is in chugiak?
