Super cool museum that gives a great overview of Alaska, and especially the native American history. They have a neat property with an antler statue thingy outside that is good for pictures. They have lots of visual and audio effects, and lots of facts to keep in mind. Be ready to spend 30 mins to an hour here. Nice gift shop as well.
Great visitor center that I believe is free to get in. Some good information on life in Alaska. Very clean and well maintained, friendly staff and clear signs of information.
Comprehensive visitor center including exhibits, sightseeing flyers, and aurora viewing information. Outside, there is a scenic trail along Chena river.
The place is very nice, plenty of space and many information to read. Got many brochures and useful maps! The office worker asked us if we needed more info which was nice!
Great educational spot with area informational, history, and gift shop. Highly recommend.
This place has a wealth of information. It is free to the public and then you can also grab quite a few pamphlets if you want to go adventuring around.
A great spot to stop and visit while in Fairbanks. Lots of info on things to see & do and wa wonderful little museum like walk through about interior Alaska. The gift shop has a nice selection of gifts and they have regular “movies” about Alaska/fairbanks area
It was a really nice visitor center. We really appreciated the exposition and the help from a super Ranger. Thank you Magali again for everything you did and for the junior ranger programm for our kids.
