Kokosing Lake Wildlife Area

Beautiful wildlife area. Great views from the dam. There are some trails that start in the area around the dam. Also there is a campground that has a large public space with picnic tables, boat ramp and plenty of parking.

Went out in my kayak. There is a nice picnic area with restrooms and a pebble beach that made launching the kayak very easy. There is also a boat launch. Spent the afternoon paddling around and watching the birds.

A wonderful spot to catch a sunset if you're in the area. The sun sets over the lake and standing on top of the dam is the best spot to watch the sky change colors.

Beautiful area but the water is up really high right now. Still fun though!

Was there in the winter and it was beautiful, can't wait to see it in the summer. Not much for "trails" but great to just walk around the dam area. HUGE!
