Absolutely gorgeous place but completely infested with ticks. I pulled 10 off me while hiking, 3 more before I got back into my car and 2 more on my way home. I made sure to take my shoes off outside, throw my clothes in the wash instantly and throw myself into the shower as fast as humanly possible!

i recently went to Belden wildlife area for a walk on the trail that supposedly was through the woods, about 2.6 miles. well the trail is not marked at all through the woods and the map i got off the internet was not reliable at all! I was very disappointed with my walk because i had to turn back because the trail wasn't marked, not even half way through and I didn't want to take the chance of getting turned around.

Found when exploring on 83. Birders we are, looking forward to visiting more. Saw some cool plants. The habitat looks awesome good job ODW/ODNR. Will add to comments after visiting more. Cone on migration (bird that is) blow SW winds blow. Visited twice. Planning on more. Place should have many different species.

Awsome place to take your youth hunting or hiking.

Wear boots. They're not kidding when they say "primitive" foot trails. Beautiful place though.
