We hosted a leadership retreat at Spring Lakes Ranch for 50 people. What an amazing experience! Every space was unique and welcoming. There were wonderful spaces indoors and out to gather in large groups as well as cozy nooks and spots to meet in small groups or relax and have quiet time. We enjoyed the grounds, the pools, the fishing & kayaking. The ranch’s buildings are spaced well so as to provide an enjoyable short walk from one to the other. The Spring Lakes Ranch team went above and beyond to make sure our event was everything we hoped for and more!

For the past 2 years our group of 20 moms of kid's with medical needs has enjoyed a retreat at Spring Lakes Ranch. We have stayed in the Ranch and Lake houses and both were amazing. (The Ranch house kitchen has been remodeled recently and is beautiful and even more functional for groups.) Both houses easily accommodated our large group. The houses are comfortable and quaint and are fully stocked with anything you might need. The décor is exceptional and every where you look you will find an interesting little treasure. While the houses are amazing the grounds are a real treat. Our group enjoyed walking the ranch, spending time by and on the springs and lakes and taking in the peaceful surroundings that can only be found when you are on acres of land with all the city commotion far away. The absolute highlight for us each time though has been the animals. Friendly groups of ponies, donkeys and goats visited our houses and were so fun to watch and interact with. You can also walk to the barn and see the other animals. Kristy and Zane are great hosts and made sure our stay was comfortable and fun. We can't wait to go back again next year!

Our third family vacation at this slice of heaven called Spring Lakes Ranch. I almost hesitate to review it so highly for fear that the world will all come book and we won’t have a week! But we love the place and the hosts so much I can’t keep it to myself. The accommodations are perfectly spacious, stylish, comfortable and easy to use (and cook for 24 people!). All grandkids, ages 9 to 29 (and all the adults ages 43 to 87), played volleyball, visiting the many animals, swam in the refreshing spring pool and enjoyed the green space with frisbees & footballs. No matter the weather, the property is stunningly beautiful and comfortable. Even 100+ days are refreshing by the cold spring pool. And rainy days are enjoyed in the house with games and visiting. Zane and Kristi and Zane are wonderful, responsive and feel like family. Thank you for letting us stay again this year. We look forward to another trip next year (or sooner!).

This ranch and the amenities are absolutely gorgeous! We came here for a work conference and there was plenty of space for all of us. The houses and accommodations well exceeded my expectations! The beds are soft, plenty of pillows, well working AC. The showers are stocked with toiletries and large towels. They are perfectly decorated to match the feel of the ranch, down the the detail. Very large living and kitchen areas with all the things you can think of to cook, hang out, and enjoy good company. If that wasn't enough, the animals and views make this a truly memorable experience! We enjoyed walking around to visit the goats as the sun was going down and staying up late on the porches/ lake house dock and look at the moon/stars. It truly had everything we needed and more to make this one of the best work retreats that I have ever been to!

I recently had the pleasure of organizing a large family reunion at Spring Lakes Ranch in Waco, Texas, and I cannot express how amazing our experience was! From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly departed, the owners went above and beyond to ensure our stay was absolutely perfect. The highlight of our stay for the kids (and even the adults) was undoubtedly the access to the lake and the abundance of water activities. The kayaks and canoes provided endless hours of fun and exploration. We couldn't get enough of the beautiful lake and the refreshing swimming pools. The joy on the children's faces was priceless! But that's not all - Spring Lakes Ranch also had a delightful surprise for the little ones. The presence of baby animals, including adorable kittens, playful goats, miniature horses, chickens, and ducks, added an extra layer of joy to our reunion. The kids were absolutely enamored with these furry and feathered friends, creating unforgettable memories that will be cherished for years to come. To sum it up, Spring Lakes Ranch provided the perfect setting for our large family reunion. The owners' exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and commitment to ensuring our happiness were truly commendable. If you're looking for a private, peaceful, and beautiful retreat that offers an array of activities for both young and old, I highly recommend considering Spring Lakes Ranch. We had the opportunity to spend a long weekend at the cottage. Although it was the smallest of the venues, it was incredible to be there, surrounded by nature. Fishing was fantastic, amazing scenery, and the all of thr staff were one of a kind. We would highly recommend this hidden gem in Waco.

This property was amazing and perfect for our women’s retreat. Not only was the property itself gorgeous with beautiful scenery and every outdoor activity you could think of, the facilities themselves were perfect down to each detail, well appointed and functional for large or small groups. The property managers were extremely attentive and quick to any request or questions. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am to the facility options, location and beauty of Spring Lakes. I can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful property!! Our group of ladies had plenty of room to spread out in the house and the grounds were so peaceful. It's close to other activities and Waco if petting baby goats and donkeys isn't your thing, but it should be! Spring Lakes Ranch is a peaceful oasis for any group or event.
