Walked about two miles around dusk in August, 2024. Saw lots of deer, a few rabbits, and some woodpeckers. Lots of fields and not a lot of woods. Saw zero mushrooms. Overgrown trails lead down to the river but it’s nothing to write home about and watch out for stinging nettles. The neighboring industrial park has been demolished, too, so urban explorers and spray painters will be disappointed. Oh, and check out the nearby railroad tavern when you’re done - very cool spot.

Good place to hunt doves and pheasants are everywhere. Decent deer hunting near the woods lots of tracks and feeding areas over there. Geese also were flying in very close. Only problem is lots of people walking there dogs will ruin the spot your at

Good spot for birding… woods, fields, brush. Near river. Paths are overgrown… its game land, after all, so dress accordingly.

Hit the archery range on Pheasant Rd. Very clean and handicap accessible. Targets at 10, 20, 30, and 40 meters. Wish there was a picnic table.

Nice place to walk, hunting is hard. You'll see an occasional squirrel, dove is what you'll see most of. Rabbit are not there like they used to be a couple years ago. Waterfowl hunting is hard on the river, geese always fly high or over the abandoned buildings. Always see fox . People like to walk their dogs and have no problem walking through your setup

Hidden little gem except for its a Game Land, don't go during hunting season. Nice trails, they have lots of re-planted areas for the wildlife. At very end of trail there is a cool old house and barn ruin - keep out not safe to go in. Throughout there are other foundation of past homes. It borders the property of Kinsey's Distillery .

Used to have alot of rabbits there. Not as much any more. I'd be careful there are a few folks that feel they own the land and your in their way. Just be careful they will shoot first and ask questions later!

Great pheasant hunting, dove, fox, geese, and ground hogs. Poor deer hunting, rabbit, and squirrel. I've seen a coyote while hunting there in 2014. If you go on a Saturday October-December, wear your bullet proof vest, no joking.
