What an experience! The crew at Arrowhead went above and beyond for us. Misty was fantastic to work with leading up to the trip. Once we arrived at Basecamp Mike & Dan took great care of us. We planned a 10 day hunt, just in case we had weather delays. Of course, we were lucky enough to get fogged in at Basecamp for 2 days. Once the weather broke, the 5 of us were shuttled to out lake. We ended up going 4/5. We messaged Basecamp about an hour after the last bull hit the ground, and they were on our lake a few hrs later. I cannot wait to go back and do another hunt with Arrowhead. I miss the tundra and also hope I never have to take another step in it 🤣

Misty- You were very helpful and professional with all questions we had prior to arrival. You answered every phone call and email which made planning that much easier. You really kept everything moving smoothly and I appreciate it. Mike- Thank you for getting our orientation completed during the afternoon, it shows that you really are about the hunters and customer service goes a long way. It was a pleasant surprise finding out we could get out a day earlier than scheduled. Danny- You were very helpful at the dock with loading gear, and seeing that we were prepared for the float plane. You came in right after Mike finished orientation at base camp and began going over key things for the trip. It just shows you wanted to make sure we were well prepared for hunting Alaska for the 1st time. Please give my thanks to Pat and Les, those pilots were professional and helpful with any questions we had during flight and when we landed. Awesome job to both! I will recommend Arrowhead to anyone going to Alaska after the experience I had with you all. Hope yall have a great rest of the season keep working well as a team and you all will be successful. If you are looking for a DIY fly in Alaskan Hunt, look no further. From start to finish and everything in between Misty went above and beyond to make our trip run smoothly and be the absolute best it could be. She is the bomb, and knows her stuff. Mike and Danny at base camp were awesome and made sure we were taken care of to and from the field, and had great communication throughout.Les and Patrick were top notch pilots that went above and beyond to get us to and from great locations.We were dropped On a great lake where over the course of our hunt we were able to see thousands of caribou to include many trophy animals. We were able to harvest two beautiful animals and get them all the way back to Ohio smoothly with their help. We can’t thank Arrowhead and their staff enough for making our Alaskan dreams come true. Had the most amazing hunt. They helped us plan all the way through even referring what rental cars to use, how the Alaskan tag process works, and all sorts of gear questions. Misty was always quick to respond. We showed up a day early and they got us into the field that night so we got a full extra day of hunting. They dropped us in a great area and we saw thousands of caribou, 6 wolves and 2 grizzlies. We took 2 wolves and 2 great caribou and flew out 3 days earlier than planned.

Hands down one of the best outfitters I ever had the privilege to use. They put us in a great spot and we saw upwards of 3000 caribou in a 5 day span. We saw wolves, Grizzlies and moose as well. It was an amazing experience and already planning out next trip.

Second time to use Arrowhead outfitters. This time on a Moose/Caribou combo hunt with my daughter. Seen lots of game, did some world class fishing, and ended up tagging 2 caribou. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime. I will highly recommend for a DIY Southern Brooks Range Hunt.
