Very beautiful walk along the West Branch. Water was clear, cool & lots of little fish everywhere.

THIS IS A HUNTING AND FISHING AREA ONLY! Stop bringing your kids here and stop bringing your dogs here for a stroll through the woods. I see tons of reviews stating “we bring our kids here to swim”….This is not a family park. There are people shooting guns and bows in these woods. The last thing i want to see is a soccer mom and her two young daughters walking under my tree stand and then getting mad at me for saying something and her having a problem with me having a gun because i might “accidentally shoot her kids”. She also admitted she knew the land is for hunting only. So why the hell are you out here? Ive also seen groups of teenagers walking through, yelling and carrying on. I yelled at them too. They actually did leave quietly. People ruin everything. That explains why you dont see wildlife here anymore. The public land near Finley is way better. Last thing PICK UP YOUR TRASH!!!!

Milan wildlife area is beautiful any time of year. The spring wildflowers really put on a show, with the Virginia Bluebells unmatched in their beauty (in my opinion). In summer the thick canopy provides a great nature retreat and respite from the hot sun. The fall and winter offer spectacular river scenes of the Huron River, and the quiet solitude one hopes for when seeking out wilderness space.

Hiked here for some deer scouting also did some fishing. The place is absolutely beautiful! No there are not actually trails seeing as this is not a family recreational area it is a public hunting fishing and trapping area!

THE Very Best in North-Central Ohio for Amethyst, Pyrite, Geode's, Concretions are Enormous. Indian Artifacts, Shale Lava Tubes from thos is how they FRAc.. Cannot believe I am Sharing. But you can only keep what you have by Giving it Away.

I’m sure this will do nothing seeing as how someone stole the sign but people need to read it.. this place is not a swimming hole it’s a hunting and fishing area ONLY

Great place to go and spend the day.. we take our kids there to swim.. water is very shallow, warm and clear.. there is walking trails and plenty of area's to explore. CLEAN UP YOUR TRASH! This is a beautiful area that we get to enjoy and if you can't be respectful enough to throw it away don't come here! We do and will continue to call ones out we see leave trash. We always bring a bag and clean up trash and we head to our spot. Do the same and we can keep this area clean.
