Stayed at the camping area. I loved it. It has picnic tables, Fire rings and lantern poles. No place to gather wood so bring your own. Also bring your own water. They have a stall for horses and 12 campsites. If they had a well for water it woul be perfect. Will be going again soon. You will need to have at least a Limited use pass to stay. Its $12 and good for a year if you buy it in August. But its good for all WMAs and National forest use.

This is a great WMA for hunting deer, wild hog, rabbit, and squirrels. The staff here are amazingly brilliant and provide hunters education. Check the TPWD website for training courses and Mentored Hunting.

Alazán bayou WMA is a great green space for wildlife. It is a nice hidden area tucked away. Bob is a great guy and has a lot of information to share about the place.

A place never to be forgotten! Step-daughter first draw hunt could not have went any better. Got her first buck and 5 min. Later shot her first hog!

Went here for a lab for wildlife management at SFA. Their waterfowl management area is really cool. I have never been here recreationally, only through school. The staff was very informative of the area and it’s purpose.

Very good experience! Took my little girl to help me scout around and my new little lab for her first outing. Still dry this part of the year.

Very dry. Suffering from severe drought. Lots of bowhunters . Didn't see any animals of no kind and very little sign.
